Course description

Uniform Master’s studies in the field of PRE-SCHOOL AND EARLY SCHOOL PEDAGOGY enable you to obtain qualifications for teaching in kindergarten and grades 1-3 of primary school. The main goal, according to the adopted concept of education, is to equip students with pedagogical, psychological, philosophical and axiological knowledge supporting the understanding of the processes of development, socialization, upbringing and teaching – learning, used in everyday teaching work to effectively organize and support the integral development of a child / student and to provide assistance. parents / guardians in raising a child.

In the course of studies in the field of PRE-SCHOOL AND EARLY SCHOOL PEDAGOGY, we provide the opportunity to acquire interdisciplinary knowledge in the field of pedagogical and biopsychic foundations of elementary education and competences to organize and implement integrated early-school and pre-school education, including diagnosing and supporting the development of pupils, including students with special educational needs. The education process comprehensively prepares for the performance of the teacher’s tasks: it includes both the transfer of substantive and methodological knowledge that determines the undertaking of effective educational activities in the area of ​​individual methodologies, including teaching a foreign language. Based on contemporary educational concepts, the program addresses the issue of integrating educational content into school practice and new trends in education, including innovative activities.

Workplaces

The education process comprehensively prepares for the performance of the teacher’s tasks: it includes both the transfer of substantive and methodological knowledge that determines the undertaking of effective educational activities in the area of ​​individual methodologies, including teaching a foreign language. Based on contemporary educational concepts, the program addresses the issue of integrating educational content into school practice and new trends in education, including innovative activities. After completing the 5-year training to work as a teacher in kindergarten and in grades 1-3 of primary school, the graduate obtains full qualifications to conduct didactic and educational classes in:

• kindergartens,
• pre-school points and departments
• in grades I – III of primary school (including the integrated education model),
• including in kindergartens and primary schools with integration classes / classes and as part of the implementation of the idea of ​​inclusive education.
